WARNING ON THE SAFE USE OF SEATING FURNITURE

(in accordance with the requirements of the GPSR – General Product Safety Regulation)

General Safety Information

  1. Do not use the chair as a step stool or ladder. Standing on seating furniture, especially swivel or height-adjustable chairs, is dangerous and can lead to falls or serious injury.
  2. Do not allow children to play on chairs. Spinning, rocking, or climbing on a chair can cause it to tip over or pinch fingers, resulting in injury.
  3. Disposal of packaging materials. All plastic bags and protective films must be disposed of out of reach of children – there is a risk of suffocation.
  4. Avoid leaning on the chair. Do not tilt backwards or to the sides in a way that lifts the wheels or legs off the ground. This can cause the chair to tip over, become damaged, or loosen structural components.
  5. Do not apply pressure only to the front edge of the seat. Sitting on the front edge can cause the chair to tip forward. If you need to sit in a leaning-forward position, use only chairs with a forward-tilt seat function.
  1. Do not place electrical devices on upholstery. Electronics placed on upholstered furniture can overheat and cause a fire. Also avoid contact with open flames or hot items (e.g., cigarettes).
  2. Do not overload the chair. Follow the maximum load specified in the technical documentation. Regularly check the condition of the chair – we recommend at least a visual inspection and basic maintenance every 60 days.

Instructions for Assembly, Maintenance, and Proper Use

  1. Follow the assembly instructions precisely. Ensure all parts are assembled in the correct order and securely fastened. Improper assembly may compromise the product’s stability and safety.
  2. Proper insertion of wheels/gliders. Wheels or gliders must be fully and firmly inserted into the base. Improper attachment may result in loosening during use.
  3. Regularly check that joints are tightened. Approximately every 6 months, check that all screws and joints are tightened. Loosening joints may lead to instability. Always keep the chair’s base fully on the floor.
  4. The chair base must always be in full contact with the floor. Never use the chair on uneven surfaces, as this may compromise its stability.
  5. Counterweight and mechanism adjustment. For chairs with tilting or synchronous mechanisms, always ensure the counterweight is properly adjusted to the user’s body weight. Incorrect adjustment can lead to uncontrolled movement or mechanical overload.
